In and around Warmley in South Gloucestershire, residents, community groups, and local campaigners have worked hard to protect precious green spaces from creeping development, recognising their value for wildlife, heritage, and everyday wellbeing. Areas of woodland, fields, and walking routes near the village – including popular natural spaces and corridors connected to the wider Bristol and Bath area – are regularly being threatened by planning proposals.
Supporters emphasise that these green places provide vital habitats, help maintain the character of the area, offer free recreation for families, and act as much-needed breathing space between expanding urban settlements. Their ongoing efforts reflect a strong sense of local identity and determination to ensure Warmley’s natural landscape remains part of its future, not just its past.
Please show your support for these wonderful, diverse and thriving areas.
